Quick answer
Choose using data requirements, integration needs and operating capacity rather than licence price alone. Cloud and on-premises options may differ in capabilities and terms; compare the proposed editions using the same pilot tasks.
| Decision | Cloud question | On-premises question |
|---|---|---|
| Data and access | Where is data stored, who can access it and how is it exported? | Where will the system run and who manages database and administrator access? |
| Integrations | How will directory, email and internal systems connect? | What network, firewall and service-account preparation is needed? |
| Continuity | What service, backup and recovery terms are agreed? | Who tests backup, restore and server-failure recovery? |
| Changes | How could updates affect existing workflows? | Who tests upgrades and compatibility? |
| Cost and exit | Are integration, migration and data export included? | Are infrastructure, backup, staff time and upgrades included? |
Run a comparable evaluation
- Select representative incident, approval and asset-related tasks using synthetic data.
- Record editions, versions, test roles and common acceptance criteria; do not compare demonstrations with different scope.
- Check requester and administrator permissions, integrations and behavior when an internal dependency is unavailable.
- Test export and request documented recovery arrangements under the proposed service terms; record limitations.
- Compare costs over the same period and separate included items from additional services.
This is a decision framework and proposed evaluation, not proof that every edition has identical features or a customer performance result. Obtain current documentation and scope for each proposal.
Prepare your quotation request
Provide technician, user and device counts, integrations, data requirements, preferred delivery arrangements and timeline. For Bangkok, metropolitan areas or other Thai provinces, state your location so delivery can be confirmed. Do not include credentials or confidential records in the first enquiry.
Is cloud always better than on-premises?
No. Compare data requirements, integrations, operating effort and the limitations of the actual proposed editions.
Can every record migrate from the existing system?
Check data types, relationships, attachments and required history using synthetic samples. Agree exclusions before committing to migration scope.
Is licence price enough for comparison?
Include implementation, migration, integrations, training, backup, recovery and staff time over a comparable period.
